I never intended to make a solo album but realized I'd amassed a sizable voice memo collection of rough demos, experiments, improvisations, and a few hundred field recordings that didn’t get used with other projects. So, I played around with the files and wound up with thirteen song collages. I think it’s best experienced on headphones while somewhere quiet and alone.

Album title inspired by "Aphorisms" by Ramón Gómez de la Serna (1888-1963.)
